3 1/2 Weeks And Counting. . .

. . . until this one's 1st Birthday. Sniff.

I just got a giant guilt trip from Erin about updating my blog (whatever, Ms. I'm a professional photographer and I STILL haven't posted pictures of my son's baptism. . . 4 months ago!!!) and the lack of William pictures recently. So here you go - my 11 month old big boy. Notice all the teeth in his mouth - they are popping through like crazy and look so painful. Not that he's complained, sweet boy. Also notice his very first ouchie; he banged his forehead while using his push toy yesterday.

As I was taking these pictures, I had a great idea to capture a series with William doing all the things he loves best. So watch for that later this week. :)

PS - I think I've done a great job keeping the old blog updated. Right? Feel free to leave comments putting the bff in her place. She gets a little full of herself every now and then.

Ariel & Her Prince

I am going to have to live-blog one day so I can capture how often she changes characters and costumes. Do you like Ariel's long, beautiful red hair?

Cinderella In Her Castle

Bless Steve and his imagination. This "castle" bought me 30 uninterrupted minutes to read my People magazine in peace (yep, I'm that shallow).

Curbside

As we were getting ready for our big Saturday family outing to Target (I know! We have such a wild life!) Steve set the little ones by the sidewalk while he ran in to grab some stuff. I was dilly-dallying, so he stopped to talk to me for a few minutes. We both enjoyed watching the kiddos out the window. They just sat there together for about 10 minutes, watching the world go by, enjoying each other's company; we wondered what they were talking about. They have such a sweet relationship these days. :)

PS - How dreary does it look out there? Yikes, we need some spring-like weather!
PPS - They are not nearly as close to the road as they look, and we were watching out the window the whole time. :)
PPS - Steve wanted to put a "for sale" sign by them. Nice.

Monday Playdate

The very best part of our lives here in Boston? The awesome friends we have made. Meg and the girls came over to play Monday morning. I spent most of the morning trying to convince her to buy the house behind ours that is for sale - how great would that be?

Caroline and Ella had fun playing dollies and "sleeping" in Caroline's big girl bed.

These pictures make me wish Caroline had a sister. :)

Ice Capades

Caroline and I had a mommy-daughter date to Disney On Ice today, and it was just about a perfect day. We had such a great time spending the day together, just the two of us. It made me realize I need to plan more time alone with my little girl. Caroline, I enjoyed every minute of our date today!

Happy Valentine's Day!

These are the cards Caroline and I made for her preschool friends. We had a really fun time working on them together last weekend while Steve was gone. I figured I'd post them today since I'm pretty sure I'll be busy tomorrow with a Valentine's Day full of romance and surprises. Or, more likely, an early wake-up call from my littlest valentine, spit-up all over my pajamas, a day filled with the never-ending cycle of meals/cleaning up, and a few toddler temper tantrums thrown in for good measure.
I wouldn't change it for anything. :)
