I'm sad to say that I think naps have come to an end for Caroline. Before last week, I could have counted on one hand the days she didn't take a nap; last week, she didn't nap once. I think she realized that she doesn't have to lie down and go to sleep so she just. . . doesn't. Even though she's tired, she just plays and plays and plays. Our afternoons now consist of a bitter cycle of meltdown/hyperactivity/meltdown. It's awesome. And although she is pretty content to play in her room for a couple of hours, this is what we find when we go to let her out:
Wow. That's just about all I can say. Wow.

On a different note, we really need a dresser just like Caroline's (for Hayden's room). . . think we could fly Stevie out and commission him to make us one? :-)
Sorry naps are ending. Maybe William will be like Jamie and and take naps until he is almost 5! I wish that for you. And it could be worse. ALL of the dresser drawers could be pulled out and ALL of the clothes could be placed throughout the room. Good thing that didn't happen! The meltdowns will pass (just in case you were worried they wouldn't)-Mazie was the same when she stopped her naps.
Oh man. I'll admit that when you told me she "trashed" her room I thought that meant she had pulled out a few toys and games and left them in the floor. I now realize the full extent of a Caroline trashing. wow.
