When I took these pictures (with my new lens - ugh I am still learning) I couldn't believe how much older she looked than last year.
I am so proud of the progress she has made in ballet over the last two years. She really has some talent, and it was wonderful to see how confident she was on stage. My little girl is growing up!

50mm 1.4 is my fave right now, although I resort to the kit lens way too often because of the eas of having a zoom at functions.
It's a 50 mm 1.8. Erin recommended it. Joey, I'm with you on relying in the zoom of the kit lens!!! It's taken me a while to make friends with my new lens, but I can really see the difference in the pictures.
She's gorgeous. Love her as a little ballerina.
i think she looks amazing, so sweet. i am inspired to see if alla wants to try ballet again one of these days:)
