Caroline Clark, P.I.

Here's a funny story that I just have to share. . . I just snuck into the kitchen to eat a piece of chocolate while Caroline is watching her show on t.v. I thought I had done a pretty good job of being discreet - she didn't even look up while I was in the kitchen. I sat back down to watch with her, and she turned to me and said, "what did you just eat? Why does it smell so chocolaty?" BUSTED. Isn't it supposed to be the kids hiding their candy-eating from the parents?

Can't get nothin' past em. Looks like you'll have to be keeping a larger stash of chocolate around!

Busted!

My mom used to pour soda into a coffee mug when I was little so we wouldn't ask for a sip. I remember catching on to her trick and keeping an extra close watch on her, so beware!

A friend of mine said once she would eat a whole lot more if she didn't have kids. So true. I find myself hiding behind the pantry door. Grace: "What are you doing, Mommy?" Me: "Oh nothing..."
