Father's Day

We visited the Public Garden and rode the swan boats for Father's Day.

Caroline had a ball, and William was at his easy-going best. Steve and I constantly marvel to each other how easy this baby is - he's pretty happy to do whatever we are doing. In fact, during dinner that night, William took a nap right on the bench of our booth.

Caroline checked out the Make Way for Ducklings statue:

For the past several months, Caroline has had two main passions: princesses and ballet. She discovered a whole new love on our outing, however - brides. There were about eight weddings taking pictures in the Public Garden that day, and Caroline was fascinated. We spent half of our time there walking around and looking at the brides. She was in love with the "bride dresses" and "bride crowns." We've spent countless hours since that weekend watching "mommy's bride dvd" and looking through our wedding album. Caroline was particularly amazed by the little flower girls, and she is now desperate to be one herself. So if you or anyone you know is in the market for a 2-year-old blonde-haired, blue-eyed flower girl, let me know. :)

I 've been sent from the pigbear's blog to say hi and happy blogging!

My parents are only children so I have no cousins - I also have no nieces or nephews yet. If I get married, I hope there's a flower girl around as cute as Caroline!

Oh my goodness. You went from anti-blogger to crazy blogger with "I've already got my post planned for tomorrow". You're a nut.

You should take Caroline and go hang out at bridal shops. I'm sure that she could pick up a few flower girl gigs before wedding season is over. :)

OK, so this post almost made me cry. "Make Way for Ducklings" is my favorite children's book. I have my original copy, given to me as a child, with a postcard in it from 1980, when my cousin visited the park and rode the swan boats. Someday... I'd love to take our kids there too. Looks like so much fun! Cute pic of Caroline on the Duck!
