We headed to our wicked cool (you like that New England slang, Midwesterners?) local farm to pick out our family tree tonight. Not my most exciting pictures ever, but I had to get back in my blog groove, so here you go. Somebody who shall remain nameless wasn't in the mood for having her picture taken, so please attribute the lack of equality to three-year-old attitude and not to favoritism.

Caroline proclaimed every tree we saw "perfect" and "just right."

My monkeys.

William checking out the poinsettias.

Aren't these things supposed to be poisonous?

So which perfect tree did you end up picking? I love that last picture of William tasting the poisonous flower. Very funny!
I ALSO picked out our REAL tree tonight (so sue me if it's only three feet tall)! Tomorrow we'll decorate and have egg nog French toast w/plenty of Xmas songs :)
We just got ours on the way home from church today! After initially pointing out several "chwis-mas twees" he started doing laps around the place. That boy is fast!
I smiled contentedly seeing your sweet (immobile!) little one enjoying the festivities and thinking about William doing his laps when you get your tree next year! :-)
I think maybe only the flower is poisonous??
