I did the same thing when I tried to make a banner. Did you make it by uploading the picture in the title bar on blogger? I had to make mine and resize it on Photoshop, then upload it as a picture, not as the title bar. I completely squished the title bar and changed the outline color to the same as my backgroud so that the title bar completely seemed to diappear. I don't know if I did it right. AS a matter of fact, I am sure there is a much better and correct way, but I didn't know who I could ask for help. Erin and JJ can lead you in the right direction for sure. You'll have to let me know what advice they have so I'll know for my next banner...which I am not changing for awhile...too much work for a mere novice:)
If you have another program in which to add the title, use that instead of having Blogger add it on top of your photo. OR... if Erin can just "play" with the top of the portrait to add more background, then it would not be covering your kids. I love the new portraits - she sure does a great job (although, how could one NOT, with such cute subjects?!).
Hi! We're the Clarks. Our family consists of Steve, Samantha, our sweet daughter Caroline, and our new baby boy, William. We hope we can share a little bit of our family with our loved ones through this blog.

What's wrong with it? I think it looks great and you can see the kids and they look so happy. Really, I love it!
When you figure it out, let me know :)
