This will have to be a quick post, as I am really busy babysitting the 6 sleeping Baby Jesus's upstairs while Caroline, I mean Mary, is at preschool.
Last Monday poor Doggy had a tough day. He just couldn't get things right. He was throwing things, hitting, not cooperating. He spent most of his day in time out. Luckily his patient mama kept giving him more chances and having conversations about how to make things better. I was quite amused by this little show. And quite pleased that the "mama" was gentle and loving instead of screaming and nasty. :) Their little minds are fascinating, aren't they?

This is so Mazie. Mazie used to do this with her Strawberry Shortcake doll all the time. Now she just acts like the boss and is in charge all the time. It was cute when she did it to her baby. Not so much now though.
YES! I love when A's animals share or hug or comfort each other. And I hate hearing her admonish the dogs :( They are our best mirrors!
i'm always in the next room listening very closely for how her 'friends' and animals interact...if they are gentle or not so nice. and occasionally there is a comment that is WORD FOR WORD what i've said to her, so funny. it is encouragement to try harder on our parts, huh?
What a sweetie! And you REALLY should take that babysitting job a little more seriously. Would you like it if YOUR sitter just blogged away instead of watching the kids?? All 6 of them?
That's pretty darn cute. Like Liz, we hear Hayden saying "no no Maggie" and "go lay down Maggie" a little too often!
I'm sure William is glad that the doggie is the subject of Caroline's care rather than him!
